The government plans to hold a press conference on electricity support measures for businesses on Saturday, the newspaper Dagens Næringsliv reports.
According to the newspaper, the details have not been finalized yet, and the proposal must first be presented to the parties in Norway’s working life.
As far as DN understands, the government is not in favor of direct support for companies. According to the newspaper, the government proposes to open up a loan guarantee scheme where the state takes most of the risk for the loans.
The government is also planning a generous energy subsidy scheme through Enova, the business newspaper notes.
NTB has been in contact with the Ministry of Trade and Industry, which has so far been unable to confirm or deny this information.
